Queens Lake is an amazing place to live! We are fortunate to have an active association, the QLCA, that maintains our common areas including the lake, pond, pool, playground, clubhouse, tennis courts, fields, and marina. All of these wonderful amenities are here for the use and enjoyment of association members. They increase the property value of every home in the neighborhood. The more homeowners who join the association, the more resources we have to care for these amenities and the more vibrant our community will be.
If you are like me, sometimes living here feels like living in a resort. Driving home on a gorgeous spring day with the dogwoods, redbuds, and forsythia in bloom; riding my bike to the pool down the shaded streets in the summer; volunteering at a swim meet; celebrating Queens Lake Day; enjoying the sunrise on a morning walk over the bridge with the flag flying at the Marina and the osprey (and even eagles) flying over the creek; watching the leaves change to all their vibrant glory in the fall; enjoying social events at the clubhouse with friends and neighbors; even the ice storms that make Queens Lake a frozen wonderland - all of these scenes and experiences make living here enjoyable and memorable. It is a privilege to be a member of an association that makes all this possible.
A Membership in the Queens Lake Community Association, Inc. (QLCA) is available to each property owner and there are two types of memberships available: Traditional and Deeded.

Traditional Members buy a $1,500 stock certificate in the Association. Deeded Members have no stock purchase requirement; however, there is a deed-restriction document that is filed with York County requiring all current and future owners of the property to be members of the Association. When a deeded property is sold, the new owners must pay a $100 transfer fee to Queens Lake Community Association.
Traditional and Deeded Members agree to pay the current Annual Dues to the Association and abide by the rules and Bylaws. They are then afforded use of all amenities in the neighborhood, some of which require additional annual fees.
An Associate Membership is available to renters in Queens Lake. If the property owner is a Member-In-Good-Standing the renter may then use the facilities of the Association upon payment of the usage fees. If the property owner is not a Member-in-Good-Standing, the renter shall be required to pay the Annual Dues and then may use the facilities by payment of the usage fees
A Limited Membership is available to non-residents who are not property owners in Queens Lake who wish to use the Pool, and/or the Marina. The Clubhouse is also available for rent.
